Ask your library

The Agent answers questions from your own books and papers, and shows you exactly where each part of the answer came from.

Ask a question

  1. Choose Agent at the bottom of the rail.
  2. Type your question and press Send question.

The Agent searches your library, reads the passages it finds, and writes an answer. You can watch it work: it may open books and search as it goes.

Good questions are specific: "How do the papers I've saved measure gait stability?" works better than "Tell me about walking."

Check the sources

The answer names the book and page behind each point. If an answer matters, open that page and read the passage: the reference is there so you can.

Ask about what you're reading

The Agent sees what's open in your workspace. Select a passage in the reader or a card on a board, then ask "What does this mean?" or "Find other sources that discuss this."

Keep the conversation going

Follow-up questions build on the earlier answers. Clear chat starts fresh. Conversations stay on this computer.

Turn answers into work

Ask the Agent to put what it found somewhere useful: "Add these sources to my Gait Collection", "Write a summary of this into my note", or "Make a board comparing these three papers." Each change waits for your approval. See Let AI edit Notes and Canvas.
