Read offline

In Local mode everything is already on your computer, so there's nothing to prepare. With sync on, book files download when you first open them. To read others offline:

1. While you're online, right-click each book you'll need and choose Download locally.
2. Go offline. Downloaded books open as usual, and Xandria opens to your library without a connection.

Everything you do offline (highlights, notes, boards, reading progress) is saved on your computer straight away, and syncs to your other devices when you reconnect. See Work across your devices.

Books you haven't downloaded show in your library but won't open until you're back online. Searching inside book text also needs a connection; titles, highlights and notes search offline.

Keep your work safe

• Close Xandria normally. It finishes saving before it quits. If saving fails, it stays open so you can try again.
• Don't delete Xandria's data folder while you have offline changes that haven't synced yet.
